Tamara Beckwith in the south of France
Socialite Tamara Beckwith revealed her penchant for relaxing the Continental way when she took a holiday in France.
The star, now in her forties, took the break with her family in the south of the country that gave the world croissants, frog legs and the Eiffel Tower.
Known as the original It girl, Tamara showed that she still has what it takes to turn heads as she emerged on the beach in a small bikini looking toned and tanned.
Tamara was joined by her Italian husband Giorgio Veroni and their 17-month-old daughter Violet. The threesome boarded a luxury yacht and headed out onto the ocean to enjoy the good weather.
While Tamara began the day in a zig - zag two-piece she later covered up in a playsuit, as the family docked the boat and headed along the shoreline for a stroll.
While a holiday in the south of France may not be Miami or Barbados, it has a strong tourist appeal for the rich and famous with hot spots like Nice boasting a sophisticated charm that many find irresistible.
With its polished pebble beaches and azure sea, Nice is a cut above your average tourist resort. It has a wide range of museums and the ancient Roman city of Cemenelum is a major attraction for archaeological aficionados.
Meanwhile, the secret passages of Flaneurs will take tourists back in time to a romantic age and eventually lead them to the flower and produce markets, where wonderful delicacies can be bought.
And once all the coastline and culture has been explored there are the restaurants, which well and truly live up to the French standard.
With Michelin-stared chefs, family-style eateries and chic cafes all on offer tourists will be hard-pushed not to find somewhere that is to their taste.
There is also a huge range of watering holes and a constantly changing line up of hot night spots for those who want to let their hair down in France's fifth-largest city.
With so much on offer in what has been billed as the cosmopolitan capital of the Cote d'Azur, it is not hard to see what attracted the ultimate party girl-turned doting mother to the area.
