A few days earlier in her holiday, she had been in Jerusalem exploring the tourist attractions of the historic city, which has ancient links with Judaism and Islam and Christianity.
During her whirlwind tour of the capital the singer covered up as a mark of respect to these religions, as she visited most of the holy sites including the Church of the Holy Sepulchure, where Jesus Christ's tomb is said to rest, and the Western Wall - a most revered site of the Jewish faith.
As the singer visited these spots she wore a maxi dress and sarong - ensuring that barely a scrap of her perfectly-toned flesh was on display.
As well as the cultural sites, Rihanna also slipped in a spot of shopping as she visited a traditional market.
