Rihanna is a singer known for working hard and putting her all into visually-stunning tours. So when she takes a break, it is normally well-earned.
And as the pop star was snapped relaxed by a pool in Tel Aviv, Israel it looked like she was enjoying soaking up the sun rays during some downtime from the bright lights of fame.
The Barbadian wore a string bikini as she laid beside the pool topping up her tan and attracting some admiring glances from other holidaymakers, who she later cooled off with in the water.
Afterwards, the 22-year-old changed into a sheer top that exposed her midriff and some khaki shorts as she took a break from relaxing to do some volunteer work at a local community centre.
A few days earlier in her
holiday, she had been in Jerusalem exploring the tourist attractions of the historic city, which has ancient links with Judaism and Islam and Christianity.
During her whirlwind tour of the capital the singer covered up as a mark of respect to these religions, as she visited most of the holy sites including the Church of the Holy Sepulchure, where Jesus Christ's tomb is said to rest, and the Western Wall - a most revered site of the Jewish faith.
As the singer visited these spots she wore a maxi dress and sarong - ensuring that barely a scrap of her perfectly-toned flesh was on display.
As well as the cultural sites, Rihanna also slipped in a spot of shopping as she visited a traditional market.
Tel Aviv is a popular holiday destination for tourists who want to experience all Israel has to offer and spend a bit of downtime relaxing.
The city is located 80km from Jerusalem, making it an easy visit for a day trip or weekend getaway, but while in Tel Aviv visitors can forget about the historical turmoil bound up with Jerusalem's history and enjoy the beaches and bars of the city.
It is Israel at its most cosmopolitan, with sushi bars aplenty, volleyball on the beach and parties on the Mediterranean shores.
It is not hard to see why Rihanna would choose this city as a place to relax - suits are scarce, business is casual and the city is easy to get to grips with in a couple of days.
And once the streets have been explored, visitors can venture out onto the great ocean on a cruise - the perfect way to relax from a business schedule.
