Model in Miami and Miller in Malibu
Supermodel Kate Moss has spent two weeks jetting between the two states, while actress Sienna Miller and her boyfriend Rhys Ifans have been spotted across on the West Coast beach resort of Malibu.
Kate Moss packed up her eight Louis Vuitton cases and headed to sunny LA for a Disney-inspired break with her daughter Lila Grace. After taking in the sights and trying a few of the theme-park's rides – namely the log flume – it was back to work for the fashion face.
Over the weekend the model relocated from LA, and the tranquillity of her own private holiday villa, to Miami in Florida for a photo shoot. She was snapped in the gardens of an exclusive hotel in Miami Beach by fashion photographer Bruce Webber.
Taking her daughter as a travel companion, the model then flew back to LA for a couple more days of rest before a return to the wet British April.
Used to the finer things in life, the one-time Burberry model flew first class with British Airways between Los Angeles and Heathrow Airport. However, the teething problems hitting passengers using the new Terminal 5 didn't escape the Croydon-born blonde.
Apparently, she landed in LA in one piece, but was missing several suitcases. This has put the model in line for compensations as the bags apparently contained priceless designer items as well as prototypes for her range of Topshop clothes.
Landing back in London, the model was all smiles as her rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince was on hand to surprise her in the arrivals hall.
Meanwhile, Sienna Miller and Rhys Ifans - both members of the model's friendship circle - are also enjoying a break in the USA at the moment. The two, who are apparently engaged and busy planning their wedding, have been spotted enjoying the sandy beaches of Malibu - a popular haunt for Hollywood stars.
Ever the trendsetter, Sienna caused a stir in the town by going barefoot on a shopping trip. Obviously enjoying the sunshine, the star stepped out with her Notting Hill actor beau to buy an ice cream wearing nothing more than a dress and a pair of sunglasses.
