Jennifer Metcalf in Spain

Jennifer Metcalf in Spain
Spain has long been a favourite getaway for Brits in the summertime - and this extends to celebrities as well as mere mortals.
So it was Marbella that Jennifer Metcalf headed off to when she got a break from filming the long-running Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks.
The actress was a vision of health as she was pictured topping up her tan in a red bikini and gold chain and even managed to divert attention away from America's first lady Michelle Obama, who was also in the Spanish city.
The 26-year-old starlet spent the day relaxing on the exclusive Nikki Beach and gave photographers a radiant smile, indicating that she was having a good holiday.
Jennifer, who plays Mercedes in the soap, had been to the Spanish resort the previous month to shoot the annual Hollyoaks calendar and liked it so much that she decided to return for a holiday.
She had no reservations in showing off her trim figure, which has been enhanced by liposuction on her bottom and thighs.
But Jennifer's shapely outline was nothing out of the ordinary for Marbella, known as a playground of the rich and famous where body-beautiful people regularly strut their stuff.
Home to 24-kilometres of flawless coastline, it is not hard to see how Marbella earned its reputation as one of Europe's most beautiful resorts.
Unlike other Spanish holiday hot spots, which can be loud and brash, Marbella combines old world charm with beautiful beaches and stunning mountain backdrops, giving visitors the chance to admire natural beauty with cosmopolitan sophistication.
The temperatures are as beautiful as the scenery all year round, with the summer months remaining a nice heat and winter never becoming too chilly.
As well as fabulous beaches the resort has stunning golf courses and a plethora of luxury housing developments - many of which have convinced passing visitors to up-sticks and stay in the Spanish resort.
Furthermore, those who like to infuse their holidays with a shot of history will be able to trace Marbella's heritage back to Palaeolithic times - and archaeological artefacts remain from Roman times for visitors to pour over. In Las Bovedas and Villa of Rio Verde there are still exceptionally-well preserved mosaics from the Roman period, which holidaymakers can enjoy.
With so much on offer it is not hard to see why Jennifer decided to return to Marbella so soon after her first visit.
Who knows, maybe she will use her Hollyoaks calendar to schedule some more visits to the beautiful Spanish resort in the future.
