Happy families head away for peace and quiet
While most couples wait until they are nearing their retirement years before thinking of moving to the peace of rural France, A-listers Angelina Jlie and Brad Pitt have decided to buy a chateau in Provence in which to settle down with their growing family.

Already the Hollywood stars are parents to Maddox, Pax Thien, Zahara and Shiloh and now it has been reported that Jolie is to give birth to twins within the next few months.

According to the celebrity grapevine, the actress wants to have her children in Provence in order to reconnect with the French side of her family and the couple have taken holidays there over the past few years in order to escape the stresses of city life.

The region of Provence has long been popular with ex-pats looking for a more tranquil way of life.

Bordering Italy and with a stunning Mediterranean coastline, its many unspoilt hilltop villages and fine local food and wine, as well as the bustling cities of Marseille and Nice consistently prove a hit and The Pitt-Jolies will find themselves in good company, given that Johnny Depp has settled down with Vanessa Paradis and their two children in a farmhouse near to the glamorous St Tropez.

Also enjoying a strong relationship at the moment are Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, so much so that she has flown over to join her ex-husband on a Caribbean break.

The divorcees are spending a week on the island of Antigua and enjoying the sunshine and fine beaches at a secret location there.

The couple's children Tom and Laura are expected to join them for some family time in the tropical getaway, while Prince Charles will meet his wife next week in Trinidad just prior to setting off on an official royal tour of the Caribbean.

For the tour, the Prince and Duchess will be travelling on board a £50 million yacht which boasts a whirlpool on deck, a heli-pad, a gym and a dining room capable of entertaining up to 100 guests.

One other happy couple enjoying some time in the sun this week were actor Adrien Brody and his Spanish actress girlfriend Elsa Pataky.

The couple, who celebrated the start of their relationship back in 2006 with a break in Miami have headed back to the city's magnificent South Beach for some time away from their filming commitments.

Well-known for its strong Hispanic influences and party culture, Miami often attracts stars from across the other side of the US in Hollywood, with Jessica Alba and her husband-to-be Cash Warren big fans of the city.
