Watford born Geri Halliwell is a woman who has travelled the world with her career as a Spice Girl - from the Deep South of America to crazed crowds in Tokyo, Japan; the fiery red head has seen it all.
But that did not stop her enjoying a recent break in Florida, where the workaholic combined business with pleasure.
Looking trim and toned, the tousled-haired star donned a white bikini which showcased her golden tan and enviable figure - especially for a woman of 38.
As she posed for the cameras in Key West, Florida, the singer's healthy curves proved that her battle with bulimia was a thing of the past.
The mother of four-year-old daughter Bluebell seemed comfortable in her own skin as she posed for the cameras - or maybe that was just the effect of the Floridian sunshine.
The American holiday also seemed to have done a world of good for the singer's confidence, as she seemed at ease in the skimpy outfit.
It is a marked change from 2008, when she told Hello! magazine: "People think I'm really confident but I do get self-conscious like many women about stripping off in public.
"I did strive to have my most perfect body and, in moments when I lack confidence, that voice is always there waiting to tell me: 'You are not good enough, do better,' but I'm more conscious of it."
It would seem that Geri's
holiday in America was a turning point for her and the Sunshine State was the ideal opportunity to prove that she is in a happy place.
The south-eastern US state is a popular destination not only with pop stars but with million of regular tourists, who each year lap up its beaches and theme parks.
Countless family attractions, such as Disney World, Universal Studios, Busch Gardens and SeaWorld, all make it an ideal place for parents to bring their children.
These theme parks are on the whole located in the central belt of Florida, where there are also more mature attractions, such as the Kennedy Space Centre and Cypress Gardens.
In the southern area of the state tourists will find the glorious beaches of Miami, the swamps of the Everglades and the beautiful Florida Keys.
With such a variety of things to do and scenery on offer, it is not hard to see why tourists have flocked back to Florida year after year.
If it has the effect on everyone that it has had on Geri Halliwell, who can blame them?
