Gary Barlow and family jet off for a Los Angeles break

Gary Barlow and family jet off for a Los Angeles break
At the end of a gruelling run of gigs, Take That's Gary Barlow has wasted little time in jetting off on a well-earned break.

With the group's UK tour coming to an end on Sunday at Wembley Stadium, Barlow has seized the opportunity to take some time out from life in the public eye by jetting off to Los Angeles with his family.

The father-of-three was spotted with his wife and children at LAX Airport in California, the Daily Mail reports, although fans of the chart-topping boyband will be pleased to hear that Barlow and co are not ruling out a future reunion.

In an interview with Chris Moyles on Radio 1, Barlow said that while Sunday's tour finale at Wembley was an "emotional night" he was confident that it "isn't the end" of the Take That story.

"We want to do some more, we want to go back out again," he confirmed.

"We'll come at it fresh next time and see where we go."

In the meantime, Barlow and family will be relaxing in Los Angeles - a popular location for people going on holiday on the west coast of America.

The largest city in the state of California with a population close to four million, Los Angeles is a renowned centre for trade and business but is most well-known as being the main hub of the western world's film industry.

Its most famous attraction is arguably the Hollywood sign positioned in the nearby Hollywood Hills, thanks largely to its appearance in a number of TV shows and films over the years.

Erected in 1923, the 45 ft-high, 200 ft-wide feature was originally an advertisement for a new housing development in the Los Angeles district called Hollywoodland.

However, it has now come to represent Tinseltown and all that it encompasses - most notably the glamour, the celebrities and the parties.

Another popular haunt for those on holiday is Hollywood Boulevard, which is home to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Established in 1960 as a tribute to some of the biggest stars in the entertainment industry, the Walk of Fame recognises the likes of Walt Disney, Hugh Hefner and Michael Jackson.

Also on Hollywood Boulevard is the Capitol Records Tower, the Hollywood Wax Museum and Bob Hope Square.

Meanwhile, famous names to inhabit the city alongside people on holiday staying in Los Angeles hotels include Tom Cruise, Victoria Beckham and Christian Bale.

While it is not known where Barlow was headed after arriving at LAX, it is safe to assume that he's not travelling on a budget as Take That's latest tour achieved ticket sales worth £50 million.

As a result, there will surely still be demand from fans to see Take That on the road when Barlow and family return back to the UK from California.
