Mediterranean
holiday destination Ibiza recently played host to English actress and fashion designer Sadie Frost who was spotted showing off her toned physique in the resort.
The 44-year old mother of three opted to take a break in Ibiza with her sister Holly, also an actress, and looked relaxed as she enjoyed the azure waters and sunny weather in a black bikini.
Photographs of the actress, who was married to actor Jude Law for six years, have been published by the Daily Mail, which stated that Ms Frost "looks better than ever after cleaning up her lifestyle and giving up the boozy nights out she used to enjoy".
A vibrant nightlife that is ideal for those wishing to enjoy similar boozy adventures is one of the factors that makes Ibiza attractive to many.
Ibiza boasts a self-indulgent heritage that goes back more than three decades, according to ibiza-spotlight.com, which states that everything from top clubs, amazing djs and bands to "a cosmopolitan mix" of foreign clubbers and local residents is to be found on the island.
Major clubs worth visiting while holidaying on the island include Amnesia, which is based in the middle of Ibiza, Eden on the waterfront in San Antonio and the Marina-based El Divino.
Others include Es Paradis, Pacha, Privilege and Space, which has nice proximity to the beach in Playa d'en Bossa.
However, Ibiza is not just about clubbing.
The island has a variety of other attractions that can offer visitors a cultural experience as well as sporting, exploration and water sports exploits.
Visitors can take advantage of guided tours of the island, or opt for Catamaran boat cruises that ibiza-spotlight.com says offer "a wide choice of excursions to suit families, singles or large groups".
For those who are independent and would prefer to go off the beaten track by exploring themselves, scooter tours may be the answer because they are an ideal way for adventurous visitors to experience local life.
There is also a scenic tour train that visitors can opt for, with the road-going open air carriages taking holidaymakers through the islands attractions with "Spanish music which changes mood and tempo with the passing scenery" in the background.
Fancy a spot of golf while taking a holiday in Ibiza? The island also has the amenities to cater for you.
These range from golf courses and tennis facilities such as Club de Campo sports club, horse riding and mountain biking tours.
Meanwhile, those going on holiday to such destinations should strive to have a relaxing experience following revelations that language barriers and different cultures can sometimes lead to stressful breaks.
According to research from Confused.com, people under the age of 30 are the most stressed on holiday, with 40 per cent of women saying that they find holidays to be more stressful than they should be.
