Daisy Lowe knows how to make headlines. From dating famous men - think Mark Ronson - to turning up at premieres wearing nothing but a see-through lace dress, this model has it down to a fine art.
So when Lowe goes on
holiday she likes to make sure there is a reason for the cameras to be snapping.
On her recent trip to Miami in Florida the 21-year-old Brit combined work with pleasure, as she modelled Louis Vuitton swimwear in a characteristically steamy photo shoot.
She was photographed wearing an 80s-style sun visor and matching scarf and standing beneath a waterfall in what has been billed as her most high-profile modelling campaign yet.
Lowe is fronting the Damier Azur collection, which has been launched to accompany the classic Louis Vuitton Damier checkerboard print selection.
It is not hard to see why Lowe would want to shoot on location in Miami, Florida. The city is a fusion of American life, with Caribbean and Latin American influences combined with a Mediterranean flair.
As well as this vibrant cultural diversity there is an alluring five-star culture, which rubs off in its pristine hotels and impeccable golf courses.
Furthermore, Miami is the fourth largest urban area in the US behind New York, Los Angeles and Chicago and is home to an estimated 5.4 million citizens. Because the city is so close to the equator it boasts a hotter than hot climate, especially between the summer months of June to September.
During these months the weather can be stifling, but Lowe has cunningly chosen to visit the Floridian metropolis outside of peak season.
However, she has also avoided the wet period between June and November when rain and thunderstorms can be expected.
But while Miami could be billed as an exciting metropolis in the same vein as New York, what it is really best known for is its beaches.
There is over seven miles of coastline in the city, adjacent to 20 parks, for tourists to enjoy. Those who like to spend their holidays remaining active can also take part in a range of water sports on the coastline, such as surfing.
And there is no concern over how clean the city's beaches are. In 2002 it was voted the nation's number one healthiest city by Natural Health Magazine for its sparkling waters.
So if its sun, sea and celebrity you are after, Miami could be the place to find it.
