Few would be surprised if Wayne Rooney were a little jealous of his wife, Coleen, who is busy living it up on a Barbados holiday without him.
The injured Manchester United star has no doubt been told to stay put by the club to speed up his recovery from a hamstring problem, but that hasn't distracted Coleen from her
holidays.
While Wayne is likely to be propped up at home in front of the television, the 22-year-old is busy frolicking with family, having a "great time" in the Caribbean sun.
The Caribbean is fast-becoming the celebrity favourite for holidays, with
hotels in Barbados having played host to singer Amy Winehouse only last month.
Winehouse was controversially snapped enjoying the island's beaches with former flame George Roberts - while hubby Blake Fielder-Civil remains locked away in jail.
However, it is unlikely Coleen will be embarking on a similar romance while away on her holidays, with her family keeping a watchful eye over the WAG.
Both Coleen and Amy also appear to have entirely different motivations for their break.
Amy's new year cheer
Winehouse is thought to have jetted off after hearing that her husband, in custody for alleged assault and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice charges, is unlikely to be released this month.
A friend told the Daily Mail: "Amy has been desperate to escape England and forget about her troubles for the past couple of months.
"But she didn't want Blake to feel any more alone or abandoned than he already does so she's waited as long as possible before booking anywhere."
Hubby Blake is also believed to have given his blessing for Amy's holiday trip, although will no doubt have wished he could have joined the Rehab singer as she lapped up the sun in her Caribbean
hotels in an attempt to shake off her 2008 stress.
Coleen clocks up the holidays
By contrast, Coleen seems to be making the most of her husband's money, with the Barbados break topping off a total of nine
holidays she is thought to have taken last year.
And there are signs she is relishing every moment of it, although is could be missing the company of her beloved Wayne.
"Coleen was obviously missing Wayne but still had a great time, messing with her family and jet skiing," an onlooker said.
Aside from putting a range of bikinis to good use, Coleen also wanted to treat mum Collette, dad Tony, brother Joe and cousin Claire, who she invited along to keep her company.
It just goes to show, luxury Barbados
holidays need not be enjoyed by the rich and famous alone.
