Musician Bryan Ferry has a busy life, from promoting his live shows to recording to new material, the musician always works hard.
So it stands to reason that he will need a good holiday every once in a while - which is exactly what the singer got when he took a break in the Mediterranean.
The Roxy Music star was snapped on
holiday on a boat with his younger girlfriend Amanda Sheppard, off the coast of Pampelonne near St Tropez.
Ferry and Sheppard, 28, docked for lunch at the exclusive Club 55 restaurant and the coupe of two years still looked very much in love, despite their 36-year age gap.
Sheppard, a former PR girl, is now based at Ferry's London home and after the musician offered to support her, she has enjoyed numerous holidays to luxurious locations over the past two years.
But St Tropez is surely one of the most glamorous destinations that Sheppard and Ferry have visited. Famous as a playground for the rich and famous, the destination is adorned with pink, orange and red townhouses, which line its famous port.
During the summer months, the popularity of St Tropez increases tenfold - with many of the visiting holidaymakers boasting bulging bank balances and often a very high public profile.
The cobbled streets, swanky bars and five-star restaurants, coupled with St Tropez's flawless climate have proved to be a magnet for those with enough cash to fund a flash trip to the resort.
However, in spring, autumn and winter the resort becomes far more low-key and the assets that first attracted writers and filmmakers to St Tropez become more apparent. Furthermore, around Christmas, the central square is transformed into an ice rink - giving visitors the perfect chance for a romantic skate with their loved ones.
Meanwhile, those wanting to discover the true heart of St Tropez should seek out the locals playing petanque in the shade of trees, indefatigable market stall holders flogging their goods and the winding rural paths that remain largely undiscovered by beach-going sun worshippers.
However, for those who are in St Tropez for the glitz and glamour its beaches and bay is the place for celeb spotting.
Docking your yacht in the harbour during the summer months is almost certainly guaranteed to earn onlookers the chance to see a famous face.
It seems that for the rich and famous St Tropez is the drug they can't get enough of - as Bryan Ferry and his girlfriend demonstrated.
