Amy performs for Josh in St Lucia
Amy Winehouse has been pictured serenading her new flame as they both enjoy holidays in St Lucia, reports confirmed today (January 8th).

The 'Rehab' singer was spotted cuddling up to a mystery man on the beach earlier this week, whose identity has since been revealed as 21-year-old Josh Bowman.

She stunned around 30 guests in a hotel bar when she sidled up to a piano and began to sing an impromptu number about love, clearly keen to make an impression on the budding actor.

As one onlooker explained: "As soon as she finished playing she rushed over to Josh and was hugging and kissing him.

"Her voice was amazing. Everyone in the bar was amazed to hear her. She sang a few songs and looked to be really enjoying herself.

"Josh was obviously impressed. They were all over each other once she had finished singing, although they quickly moved outside to the terrace."

Winehouse, 25, and Bowman appear to be an unlikely match, particularly as they have been described by one of his friends as "chalk and cheese".

According to the source, Bowman - who counts England rugby star Danny Cipriani among his close pals - is a clean-cut character who rarely drinks, does not take drugs and is a fitness fanatic.

However, that has not stopped the pair being captured by the paparazzi on a number of occasions in St Lucia looking happy and comfortable in each other's company.

Indeed, they have been snapped kissing and hugging, although Bowman has moved to play down rumours that they are an item.

"She's just a cool girl, very nice, and we're just very friendly. She's a good laugh - she is such a lovely girl and on great form," he said.

Winehouse, who has taken holidays in the Caribbean before, was also watched by friend Blake Wood as she performed in the hotel bar in cut-down jeans and a green tank top.

St Lucia is a hugely popular destination among Britons, who are drawn to its excellent weather, stunning white sandy beaches and plush hotels.

It stands out from the rest of the Caribbean in the sense that there is plenty more to do on its shores - the dense rainforest, for instance, is perfect for hiking.

And it has a noticeable soul as its fascinating sights, smells and sounds assault the senses and leave a lasting impression of what West Indian life is all about.
